Let’s Talk About : My Love From The Star
Do Min-Joon (Kim Soo-Hyun) is an alien that landed on Earth centuries ago, where he will possess a human body and never ages. In present day, he is a college professor.

With only three months left before he has to leave for space, he met Cheon Song-Yi (Jun Ji-Hyun), a famous actress who becomes his next door neighbor due to circumstances. Slowly but surely, Do Min-Joon finds himself falling for Song-Yi’s weird antics and her vulnerability that she hides form the world. He tries hard to stop himself from falling for her, as the time for him to leave Earth drew closer and closer yet finding himself unable to control his feelings for her.

There is really nothing much to say about this drama.People around the world was hyping about this drama, saying how good this drama is, how good the main leads looked together, and so on and so forth.

I find myself dropping this drama at around episode 9 or 10. I actually tried watching this drama twice, because of how good the rating was and how much people were raving about this drama, however I guess this is just one of the times where I just don’t see what is that special about this show. The storyline was “meh” at best, it was not able to keep my interest in wanting to know more about the story. There were some funny parts in it, and some romantic scenes(obviously), but to me it somehow seems generic and eventually I got bored of it. The editing wasn’t exactly awesome either, because this drama was about aliens, one would expect that they put more effort into the editing, however there seems to still be some lacking in effects.

You couldn’t really say that there is no chemistry between the leads, however there just wasn’t anything special about the female and male leads. To me, the two of them are just not compatible with each other. I would like her to be paired with someone who seems more mature, then again, maybe it’s just me.

Altogether, there really isn’t anything extraordinary that I can say about this drama. I tried watching it, dropped it, tried to pick it back up and rewatch it from the beginning to see if I feel any different way if I watch it the second time, nope. I really tried to like it, but I can’t. Despite all that, the soundtrack to this drama is really to die for though.
