May 2017: Korean Drama Highlight
Lately I have been really into Korean Dramas, I started watching a year ago and honestly I am addicted to Korean drama now. The storyline, the oh-so-hot character–honestly you have to admit that Korean actor and actresses are all so delectable. I did start with a few popular drama, however here are the list of Korean dramas that I would like to watch:
1. Jealousy Incarnate

What is this drama about?
“The competition is fierce when you work at a broadcast news station. You have no friends and everyone is out for themselves. Pyo Na Ri (Gong Hyo Jin) is a weather forecaster from a humble background. She secures a part-time contract to work at a prestigious broadcast network but soon realizes that petty jealousy and cutthroat competition surrounds her everyday work. When Na Ri falls in love with the station’ start news anchor, Lee Hwa Shin (Jo Jung Suk), will she be able to get what she wants both at work and in her personal life?”
Thoughts
This drama has actually been recommended to me from a friend, and from what I read online, it does seem like this would be a fun drama to get into. And because currently I am watching Oh My Ghost (review to come) which I also played by Jo Jung Suk, I am interested to see how he will portray his character in this show.
2. My Sweet Romance

3. Healer

What is this drama about?
A decades-old incident involving a group of friends who ran an illegal broadcasting station brings together three different people– an illegal mercenary with the code name “Healer” (Ji Chang-Wook) who happens to possess top-notch fighting skills, a reporter from a second rate tabloid news website (Park Min-Young), and a famous journalist at a major broadcast station (Yoo Ji-Tae). Whilst trying to uncover the truth from that 1992 incident, they grow into real, honest reporters, while dealing with the conflict between truth and fate.
Thoughts
This drama is actually quite a hype, like honestly, people are going crazy about this drama and I know that I am late into the Healer party. I was on the internet and searching for reviews about this drama, I wanted to be sure that this drama will not be a flop and a waste of time, and from the reviews that I read online, this show seems legit. It should be packed with action and badassery (yes I just made that word up) and most importantly, romance. It is the only reason why I am hesitant to start watching this drama because it seems like it will have a ton of fighting scene and not enough romance, because I am a sucker for romance, it is honestly difficult for me to sit through a show that is all about action. Some people might like strictly action movies or drama, but me personally I always prefer a little romance to spice things up, if you know what I mean 😜
All in all, yes, I am putting this show on my to-watch list, and I will write all about it after I finish watching it!
