Book Recommendations – February 2018

January has come and gone, now we are already well into February. Time pass by fast doesn’t it? Which is why you need not to waste another second without having a good book in your hands. Check out these list of books that you should check out in February!
1. Pestilence (Four Horsemen #1)
They came to earth—Pestilence, War, Famine, Death—four horsemen riding their screaming steeds, racing to the corners of the world. Four horsemen with the power to destroy all of humanity. They came to earth, and they came to end us all.
When Pestilence comes for Sara Burn’s town, one thing is certain: everyone she knows and loves is marked for death. Unless, of course, the angelic-looking horseman is stopped, which is exactly what Sara has in mind when she shoots the unholy beast off his steed.
Now the horseman, very much alive and very pissed off, has taken her prisoner, and he’s eager to make her suffer. Only, the longer she’s with him, the more uncertain she is about his true feelings towards her … and hers towards him.
And now, well, Sara might still be able to save the world, but in order to do so, she’ll have to sacrifice her heart in the process.

2. Special Forces – Soldiers (Special Forces #1)
Special Forces – Soldiers is the first cycle of the Special Forces epic, which consists of three cycles and is about a million words. The second cycle is Mercenaries and the third one is Veterans.

3. Brooklynaire
A sexy new standalone from USA Today bestseller Sarina Bowen.
You’d think a billion dollars, a professional hockey team and a six-bedroom mansion on the Promenade would satisfy a guy. You’d be wrong.
For seven years Rebecca has brightened my office with her wit and her smile. She manages both my hockey team and my sanity. I don’t know when I started waking in the night, craving her. All I know is that one whiff of her perfume ruins my concentration. And her laugh makes me hard.
When Rebecca gets hurt, I step in to help. It’s what friends do. But what friends don’t do is rip off each others’ clothes for a single, wild night together.
Now she’s avoiding me. She says we’re too different, and it can never happen again. So why can’t we keep our hands off each other?

The author also just published a part of the deleted scene from the book. You can check it out : here
I murdered her abductor, but I’m no hero. I’m the monster they call the Angel of Death, yet she makes me feel like a man again. My hidden little secret in the cellar is a prize I won’t be throwing away.
Her luscious lips and sweet curves promise that hiding from the mafia just got a lot more exciting.
I’m not going anywhere. And neither is she.

I hope this book lives up the the expectation as I have a really high expectation for this book. The blurb seems very promising and immediately lured me into wanting to read this book, not to mention that I am always down for a good dark reads.
An interesting collection. The first book really appeals to me
These sound like great books, I hope the ones you haven't yet read meet your expectations.
Great choices. It always makes me want to shout at the author and tell them to get their artwork sorted when I hear books like the Special Forces Soldiers. With a poor cover people won't pick it up (people do judge books by their cover), thus missing out on a great story.
Pestilence looks really good 🙂 Not sure I would read the others but that one caught my eye right away! Thanks for sharing it.

These are some good books. I think the Special Forces one would be a great read just because the setting is not the norm.
Great recommendations. I'll definitely check them out!
Thanks for the reviews, all of them seem interesting to me. I look forward to other similar post
