I mean, step on me Papi. Goddamn, that smile.

Jokes aside though, I don’t think I have ever fangirled, squealed, or gasped out loud as much as I did as when I was watching Nevertheless. I mean, of course, we are all in agreement that we should stay clear from walking red flags like Jae-eon, cause homeboy has a lot of emotional baggage to unpack. However, I cannot admit that it was quite fun watching it all unfold on screen. The youth, self-exploration, insecurities, and last but not least, the romance.

Despite this drama being only 10 episodes, it feels so much longer with how adeptly the director and writer managed to pack each and every single episode to the brim with angst and emotions. I am going to be so sad now that my Saturdays won’t be filled with Jae-eon, Na-bi, and the gang. This is why your girl is out here looking for more KDramas similar to Nevertheless in order to help me move on. If you are in the same boat, hop on in, I have donuts and possibly also a giant poster of Nevertheless to cuddle with while I sleep.
