Cozy Up with New Korean Dramas This Autumn –– September KDramas 2021
I can’t believe we are already heading into September with a new batch of Korean dramas. They don’t lie when they say time passes faster the older you get. My body might be in 2021 but I am pretty sure my soul is still somewhere in 2020.
Time travel aside, autumn is here! Your girl is hella excited because I get to finally wear hoodies, hide under blankets, and pretend that I participate in pumpkin carving activity! And of course, let us not forget, binge-watch Korean dramas! Seriously though, at this point, all season is the season to watch Kdramas.
I took a sneak-peek at all the upcoming KDramas in September and let me tell you guys, it’s spicy. There are so many exciting dramas coming up and your girl is freaking excited. Let’s get started!

Jin Moo Hak, whose family grew a tiny gamja-tang (spicy pork back bone stew) restaurant into the global food corporation DonDon F&B. Although he is a director of the company, he is far from intelligent and was always ranked last in his class when he was in school.
The korean drama Dali and the Cocky Prince is about the unexpected romance that occurs as Jin Moo Hak tries to steal an art museum from Kim Dal Ri.

Round Six depicts a story of people who decide to become the players of a mysterious survival game that has a whopping 40-million-dollar prize at stake. Gi-hun, played by Lee Jung-jae, seems defeated by life after being fired from his job. He decides to join the survival game to win prize money. Sang-woo, played by Park Hae-soo, is Gi-hun’s childhood friend and he also joins the game as he gets in trouble at work despite all the hard work he has done to be where he is at now.
The literal translation of Round Six’s Korean title is ‘Squid Game’ (오징어 게임), which is the street game Gi-hun and Sang-woo played together when they were young. It’s quite a physical game that only ends when there’s a final winner, much like the survival game they play now. It’s named as such because players are to draw different geometric shapes on the ground, which, as a whole, look like a squid.
10. Hellbound (지옥)

Bae Young Jae is a program director for a broadcasting station. He tries to dig out the truth about the religious group Saejinrihwe. Min Hye Jin is a lawyer. She stands up against the group “Hwasalchok” (‘Arrowhead’), which consists of people who blindly follow Saejinrihwe.
Song So Hyun is Bae Young Jae’s wife. She collapses in emotional pain, which she can not deal with. Jin Kyung Hoon is a detective and investigates cases involving the appearance of angels of death.
